Runes is a fully offline personal finance app. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:
All financial data you enter — assets, liabilities, expenses, and goals — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is transmitted to any server at any time.
An internet connection is used only to fetch currency exchange rates from a public API (open.er-api.com). No personal data is sent as part of this request.
Runes offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock unlimited entries. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.
If you enable biometric lock, Runes uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework to verify your identity. We never access, store, or transmit your biometric data. Authentication happens entirely on your device through iOS.
Runes does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for all ages.
Runes does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics platforms. The only external network request is a read-only call to fetch public currency exchange rates.
If we update this Privacy Policy in the future, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
